Climate is moderate sea, in the east transitional to the continental, on the Mediterranean - subtropical. Summer is sufficiently hot (in July - August from +68ºF to +77ºF, winter soft (in January from 32 to +37º F) and sufficiently damp, snow goes rarely. The most favorable time for the visit of Paris - May and September- October, Riviera - September. In Corsica long and hot summer - since May until October +70 - 80ºF. Winters sufficiently cold (from +42 to 57ºF in the valleys and to +21ºF in the mountains), on the mountain slopes snow lies until June. Wind effect, each of which has their name - “libekkio”, “mistral” (northern and western), “sirocco” (southwestern), “levante” (eastern), “grekale” (northeastern) and “tramontane” (northern) and in their own way influences weather. Best months for leisure in Corsica - May-June and September- October.

In the large cities the majority of stores are opened from 10.00 to 19.00, Sundays - closed. In the province many stores are closed and on Monday. Interruption to the dinner - from 12.00 to 14.00 or from 13.00 to 15.00, some stores once a week work to 21.00. Supermarkets are frequently opened to 21.00 - 22.00. Product stores and bakery usually work in the mornings on Sunday and holidays.
