 For the climate are characteristic soft winter and warm summer, by duration around 3 months, since June until August. Highest temperature in summer from +77º F to +87ºF, and mean temperature around +65ºF. In winter temperature frequently descends below -4ºF. Behind the polar circle the sun in summer does not descend beyond the horizon during 73 days, but in winter here comes the polar night, which is lasted 51 days.

Firm stores in essence are found in Helsinki, but the production of the leading designers exists in the specialized stores on entire Finland. Most famous brands of the Finnish design: Artek (furniture of legendary designer Alvaro Aalto), Kalevala Koru (jewelry articles made of silver and bronze on the basis of traditional historical models), Karhu (sport equipment and sport clothing), Arabia (glass, porcelain, the objects of skill, household articles), Annikki Karinen (exclusive fashionable woman's clothing from the bright cloth of the manual preparation, prepared from the cotton and the diagonally cut strips), Iittalla (everyday glass, the art objects l from the glass), Marimekko (fashionable accessories, jackets, blouses, bags, clothes).
